Dennis served in the Clinton Administration developing, implementing and advocating for laws and policies that facilitated the maximum growth for the nation’s entrepreneurs. He served as Associate Deputy Administrator for Entrepreneural Development and as Counselor to the United States Small Business Administrator. During this tenure, Dennis proclaimed that “ENTREPRENEURS ARE NOT BORN BUT MUST BE CULTIVATED“. He authored policy initiatives which let to record setting lending and contracting awards to minorities, women and veteran entrepreneurs. His understanding of government procurement is enhanced by his tenure as Director of Verizon’s Federal Small Business Programs and its Department of Defense Mentor Protégé Program.
